A Place for Mom is pleased to announce some significant changes to your Community Profile in Partner Central!
One of the most common requests we’ve heard from our partners is to expand our list of community activities, room features and special events on our site. After collecting feedback from 1,700 communities, we expanded the option for you to add more than 150 new amenities and features to your Community Profile and APFM web page.
It’s not just our partners who are excited about your new, more detailed profile; our Senior Living Advisors are thrilled to see more information from you! “It‚Äôs a great feeling to know each community‚Äôs uniqueness and learn about all they offer so you can steer people in the right direction‚Ä¶ works for all!” says Trish Bossow, Senior Living Advisor in APFM’s Great Plains region.
Your APFM community web page now features a wide range of amenities listed under Community Details; this is just a small snapshot of the available options. You have the opportunity to be as detailed as you want when it comes to your activities, services, and features. Some example amenities include:
- Art Classes
- East Exposure Units
- Light Therapy
- Walking Paths
- West Exposure Units
- And dozens more!
Additionally, families have the ability to filter and search www.aplaceformom.com for communities that have their desired amenities listed on their page. Families can select their location, select the features that are important to their loved one, and we will return a list of communities that offer the features they want.
We also give every family that we refer to your community a direct link to your APFM web page, which they often use to research your community prior to touring. Make sure that they are impressed by the diversity of your offerings by logging into Partner Central and filling out your new, expanded Community Profile.

How do you take advantage of these great new features? Log into Partner Central and¬†click on Community¬† Profiles. You will see that there are many more categories and individual amenities to select under each tab than there were before. Go through the profile carefully and make sure that your selections are¬†accurate. Your new amenities will be up on your web page and searchable the next morning. To find your web page easily, log back into Partner Central and click the “View Live” link at the top of your Community Profile.
