By now you know that having great online reviews is essential to generating new leads, and converting those leads into moves. But getting online reviews can seem difficult if you’re not super computer-savvy or comfortable using the internet. Fortunately, there are plenty of ways you can get online reviews without having to go online, or better yet, even touching the computer. (Okay, you’ll have to go online just once to get the web link for your community review page on SeniorAdvisor.com, but that’s it!)
1. Ask for online reviews in your printed newsletter
Do you have a printed newsletter that you regularly send to families? Your happy families are the perfect people to ask to write you online reviews and help spread the good word about your business. Add a section to your newsletter asking for reviews: “Do you love living here? Help others find us! Please go to SeniorAdvisor.com and write us a review.” Make it eye-catching by using different colors, bolding, or putting a box around the section. To make it even easier for families, put the direct website link to your community review page on SeniorAdvisor.com in the newsletter.
2. Add the review website to your business card, brochures, and printed advertising
Direct prospects to read your positive reviews by including the review website on your marketing materials. This is a great trust signal to prospects showing that you have third-party verification of your excellent service. When they return home after touring, they can read all the great reviews from your current families, and may be inspired to write their own rave review based on the tour you just gave them. To make the message stand out, include the logo from the website with a message like “Residents love us! Read our reviews on SeniorAdvisor.com” and then include the link to your community review page.
3. Make a poster asking for reviews
Ask for reviews on your community message board or print off a posterboard to place in your lobby, dining room, or another frequently-trafficked place in your community. 4. Mention the review site at the end of every positive customer service interaction

For example, “I’m so glad we were able to show you our community today. We’re always looking to improve the tour experience for families and answer more of their questions. Would you consider writing us a review on SeniorAdvisor.com sharing what you thought?” or “I’m so happy your father enjoys living here. Would you consider writing us a review on SeniorAdvisor.com about your experience with our community? Online reviews are a great way for us to reach new residents and help other families find us!”
Even if you’re computer-savvy, your residents and their family members might not be. Fortunately, they can still leave you an online review without having to go online! Here are two ways they can review your community on SeniorAdvisor.com, truly without ever having to touch a computer:
5. Provide a paper version of the SeniorAdvisor.com review form
We have created a printable version of our SeniorAdvisor.com review form. Simply click the photo on the right to enlarge, then print off several copies to give to your residents and families. You can have them return the form to you for you to scan and email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or you can mail them to SeniorAdvisor.com, 7756 Northcross Drive #101, Austin, TX 78756. Alternatively, you can provide the form with a pre-addressed envelope for the resident to return. Once we receive the reviews, we’ll input them on our site within 1-2 business days.
6. Invite residents to leave a review over the phone
